I used some older BB papers to create this page. On the background I have done a bit of random stamping using a few different stamps and black Mix'd Media ink. I added more texture using texture paste and a Crafter's Workshop stencil.
And here's our fabulous sketch.

Hello October

Hi there everyone! Can you believe that we are midway through October already? Where does the time go? Today, I have the mid-month sketch and mood board from Colorful Creations that was revealed this morning and my inspiration page to share with you.
I was inspired by the fall colors and all the textures in the mood board so I went with the fallish theme for my page. I used older Bo Bunny papers from the Forever Fall collection and a sheet from Farm House. On the background I've done some random stamping and punch work, then I distressed the edges. Before layering my photos I inked the edges in gold for some definition and a touch of sparkle. I was also inspired by the circular and wooden elements from the board so I created a few circles using a strand of burlap twine and added a few wooden buttons to my clusters. I finished my page off with splattering a bit of paint in Khaki and then added just a bit more in Gold.
Here's our fabulous mid-month sketch for you.
And this is our mood board for you to pull inspiration from.
Remember you have until the end of the month to link your projects based off this sketch. I can't wait to see your takes. Thanks so much for dropping in! Have an amazing day!

Over the Horizon

Happy Monday all! The weekend flew by way too fast once again, however on the bright side it's time for a new sketch reveal at Let's Get Sketchy. I had so much fun working with this week's sketch. Here's what I came up with.
I used Prima's Cartographer range for this page with flowers from Petaloo and my stash. For my layers I've done a lot of paper tearing and distressing. On the background I added some interest by stamping in random areas, then adding some stenciling with modeling paste and a CW stencil for additional but subtle texture.
For the treatment on the chipboard gears I simply inked them with Prima chalk ink in dark rust, then a little black ink, and finishing them off with a light dabbing of copper ink.
And here's our fabulous sketch designed by Laura Whitaker.
Now it's your turn to work the sketch and I can't wait to see your creations. Remember to link your projects under the week 2 linkup. Thanks so much for dropping by! Have a creative day!

The Crisp Days of Fall

Good morning all! It's time for a new sketch reveal at Stick It Down and I have my inspiration page to share with you.
I have used some older BoBunny papers for this page. I think they were from the Autumn Song collection. I started by stamping around the background with the Tim Holtz "speckles" stamp, and a script stamp, then a floral/leaf stamp from Glitz Designs around where my photo was going. Using the Tim Holtz "speckles" stencil and gold metallic paint I created some texture on the background, then distressed the edges.
And here's our fabulous sketch that I mirrored for my page.
Thanks so much for coming by and letting me share with you! Hope you have a creative day!

Wonderful for Reneabouquets

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing my latest layout that I've created featuring products from Reneabouquets.com and Reneabouquets Etsy shop.
I have used FabScraps Steel Chic papers for this page. I started by distressing and tearing my background layers, tucking lace between the torn edges. Using a CW stencil and Prima chalk ink in Rusty Bucket I added a bit more color and interest to the background. Then I did some random stamping using Mix'd Media ink in Patina. Next I added some more texture using molding paste and Tim Holtz stencil Gothic (THS0026). I distressed the photo and adhered a piece of cardboard underneath for dimension. I then matted the photo with a couple pieces of the FabScraps paper that I tore, distressed, and crumpled a bit. I placed a baroque metal frame along the left of the photo with flowers tucked around it. On the right side of the photo I placed some of the natural cotton crochet lace with a few more flowers and one of the Memory Keeper butterflies. I love mixing metals with the softness of flowers. Then for a little bling I added pearls to the stencil design and clusters. As a finishing touch I dry brushed a bit of gesso around the page and embellishments.
Aren't those Butterflies simply gorgeous? I love the copper antennae.
Products used from Reneabouquets.com  and Reneabouquets Etsy Shop are: Baroque Metal Frame,  Ranger Artist brushes, Memory Keeper Butterflies, Natural Cotton Crochet Cluny Lace 001
Thanks so much for stopping in! I really appreciate your time and lovely comments =) Hope you have an amazing day!
