Always

Good morning all! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. It's Monday and that means it's time for a new sketch reveal at Let's Get Sketchy. We have another fabulous sketch designed by Brenshevia this week, and here's my page based off the sketch.
For my page I turned the sketch counterclockwise one turn and tightened up the layers just a bit. I used MME's Lost & Found range. On the background I did a bit of random punching and stamping, then hand stitched the border. And finally finishing it off with a few subtle splatters using acrylic paint in Oatmeal.
And here's this week's sketch, which I turned
Now it's your turn and I can't wait to see your creations based from the sketch. Thanks so much for dropping by today and letting me share my page with you. Have a blessed day!

Everyday moments matter most

Good morning scrappy friends! It's the 15th already and that means it's time for a new sketch reveal at Colorful Creations. And I have my inspiration page to share with you.
At the moment I'm really loving the color yellow, can you tell? lol  For this page I used a Echo Park for my background and mixed it with scraps and chipboard pieces I had of MME Sweetest Thing. I used a stencil from 3rd Eye with heavy gesso on the background. I thought it went pretty well with the flowers from the MME papers.
And here's our fun sketch designed by Brenshevia. Doesn't it just get your mojo going?
Remember you have until the end of the month to link up your projects so I hope you'll get a chance to join us. I can't wait to see your creations based from this sketch, it's so fun and versatile. Thanks for popping by my blog! I hope you have a delightful day!

just be you

Good morning all! It's Monday again and that means it's time for a brand new sketch reveal at Let's Get Sketchy! But first here's my take on this week's fabulous sketch.
I used Dear Lizzy's 5th & Frolic papers for this page, with a little bit of stamping and paint splatters to the background. I used a glassine bag and handmade tag in place of the bottom banner from the sketch, but then I ended up covering most of it as my right cluster grew. Oh well, the tag can still be pulled out easily for me to go back and add my journaling.
And here's this week's sketch designed by Bev Code
Now it's your turn, so go grab your scrappy supplies and join us! I can't wait to see your take on the sketch. Thanks for coming by and letting me share my page with you today. Have an awesome day!

Weeks 12 & 13

Hello everyone! How was your weekend? The weather here was perfect for spending some family time outside, so I had a great weekend. My only complaint is it went by way too fast. Weekends are always like that though, right?  Today I have a couple of pocket pages to share. Yes, I've decided to jump on the P/L bandwagon this year. I'm still in the "learning phase" so please bare with me, and if you have any tips I'd love to hear them. I still have to get the hang of photographing the pages clearly through the protectors.
I had some 5th & Frolic papers left over from another recent project so I decided to rescue them from my scrap basket and finish using them for my pages here. Life In Details  has a challenge right now to use pastels for your P/L pages. I know some of my papers aren't really pastel, but it's as close as I could get.
Thanks so much for dropping in! I truly appreciate your time and lovely comments! Have a wonderful day!

Bliss

Good morning! It's April already, can you believe it? The months are just flying by too quickly. I have to admit I'm glad this winter's over and we can actually get outside to enjoy the sunshine and warmer weather. Today a new sketch is revealed at Stick It Down and I have my inspiration page along with the sketch to share with you.

I used Heidi Swapp's Hello Today range for this page. I slightly angled my background then did a bit of stamping to it. In place of the circle elements from the sketch I added some paint splatters. I tucked some thread under my cluster which consists of Petaloo flowers and some from my stash.

And here's our sketch this week
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog! I hope you get the chance to join us. Have a delightful day!
