True Beauty LGS reveal # 30

Good morning all! An awesome new sketch designed by Laura Whitaker was revealed today at Let's Get Sketchy! Here's this week's sketch:

And this is my interpretation:

For this layout I used the beautiful papers from the "Gabrielle" collection by Bo Bunny.  On my background I used  a brick mask by The Crafter's Workshop with modeling paste. After it was dry I went back over it lightly with some gesso and allowed to dry. Then I went over it with Tim Holtz distress ink and a sponge. I went over the outside edges with my distresser and ink, as well as a border punch by Martha Stewart. I also used a prima stamp here and there around the edges, which you can see to the upper left of the butterfly below. I have a few close ups to share of the details...

In this close-up you will notice the cheese cloth I've tucked here and there in my clusters. And the lovely butterflies are from Renea's etsy shop: http://www.reneabouquets.etsy.com/

I gave the Kaiser Craft frame an aged look with some distress ink. All the flowers on my layout are a mix of Prima and Petaloo.

I hope you enjoyed! Please stop by again! Head over to LGS and check out all the gorgeous layouts created by some wonderfully talented designers. Better yet, pull out your supplies and use the LGS #30 sketch to create your own masterpiece! Have a great day!
