Hi there! A wonderful Monday morning to you! Sketch #29 was revealed today at Let's Get Sketchy, along with DT layout inspiration! This week's fun sketch was designed by Tabitha Triplett. Here's what we are working with...
Even though it's my week off, I think I came up with a pretty cute layout to share with you based off this sketch. Here is my daughter when she's was nine months old.
The papers I used on this are from My Mind's Eye "Lost & Found". Perfect for baby girls with the pretty little roses and pink gingham to match her little dress. I had fun using a couple different Martha Stewart border punches around the outside of the Coordinations cardstock, that I then matted my distressed gingham print paper onto. I also used a Prima mask and molding paste. Once dry I applied a light coat of gesso, let dry. Then I used Tim Holtz distress ink to help bring out the raised areas. The ribbon technique with the silver beads came from Mandy Harrell aka- Craftysprinkles. Thanks, Mandy!
The cute butterflies are from Renea's etsy shop: http://www.reneabouquets.etsy.com/ .
And the lovely pin along with the tiny white roses, I got from Angelica's etsy shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop/LittleScrapShop. Two of my favorite shops to get goodies! Most of the flowers I used are Prima, except for the large pink one is from Manor House. On some of the flowers I used Stickles "Star Dust". The little wooden heart was originally painted red, but I didn't like it so I painted it with magenta acrylic paint then sprayed it with some Shimmerz "RazzelDazzel Berry".
Thanks so much for stopping by and taking the time to look at my layout. Please head over to LGS and check out the other amazing work done by the design team! Have a great day!
