Remember when... LGS challenge #27

Good morning and Happy Labor Day, everyone! It's Monday and reveal time at Let's Get Sketchy. This week you are being challenged to create a page from this wonderful sketch by DT member Laurie Riviere, who is making her sketch debut.

And this is what I came up with using this sketch:

I used Kaisercraft "Lakehouse" collection for this page. I lightly distressed the edges with my Ingvild Bolme distressing tool, then inked the edges. The Dusty Attic chipboard was first inked with a mossy green then misted with Tattered Angels' "Green Ivy" for a little sparkle.

I fussy cut the fountain and adhered it with pop dots for some dimension. The flowers are Petaloo and Prima. The lace is a flea market find.

The corner punch is Martha Stewart "Vintage floral" and "Cherish". Thanks so much for taking a peek and your comments. Please remember to stop by Let's Get Sketchy and visit the other LGS team members to see the beautiful layouts they have created. =)
