Good morning all! It's Monday, which means a brand new reveal is live at Let's Get Sketchy to inspire you and get the mojo going.
For this page I put my scissors to good use by fussy cutting the background paper, butterflies, and some of the flowers. Using a Prima mask and heavy gesso, I gave the background a bit of texture. While the gesso was still wet I lightly sprinkled some Martha Stewart extra fine glitter to give it a touch of sparkle. For the stamping I used an acrylic stamp from Glitz Designs and Mix'd Media ink pad in black. I scrunched the ribbon as I affixed it to the page using a hot glue gun. For some more dimension I matted the banner and a few of the flowers on cardboard. Finishing it all off with a few sead beads and splatters.
And here's our fabulous sketch this week designed by Bev Code
