Good Morning! If you're here for the About A Girl reveal please scroll down.
Hello all! A brand new challenge word is live at Use Your Words.
“And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it.” ― Roald Dahl
From this quote your challenge word is "believe". Remember it doesn't have to be in your title, it can be in your journaling.
I used papers from Kaisercraft's 75 Cents collection for this page, which I distressed and punched. The punched edges I curled back and tucked cheesecloth underneath to help soften. The background paper was further altered with some gesso and turquoise acrylic paint. The wooden bird and nest are by Prima, as well as the vine which I cut up then added a few more flowers to from my stash. The metal word charms are by Fairytales, I ran some string loosely through them to tie them together starting at the small tag. The chipboard flourishes are from Dusty Attic, and I simply sprayed them with Heirloom Gold by Ranger then inked the edges black. I based my design from sketch #14 at 2 Broke Girls Scrap and the August "chipboard and flowers" challenge at Orange Paperie & Co
And here's the fabulous sketch from 2 Broke Girls Scraps, which I rotated...
