Well hello again! This is my second post of the day. This time around I'm sharing a new layout that I'm submitting to the Let's Get Shabby sketch challenge. I loved the sketch, it's so versatile you can really have fun with it. Here's the sketch...
And here's what I created...
And some close-ups...
For the chipboard wings, I gave them a rough coat of gesso. When dry I simply gave them a coat of gold ink, then layered them over feathers.
On the background I lightly sprayed Perfect Pearls mist in Heirloom gold. And randomly stamped with gesso with the rim of a lid for a little more texture and interest. The flowers are a mix from my stash, along with the lace, pearls, and purple crochet doily.
Thank you again for your time! Hope you have a Blessed Sunday!
The gold and mauves are so pretty together and how cute are the little feathery wings!! Lovely interpretation of the sketch! Thanks for playing along with Shabby!
