Good morning! It's snowing this morning- so pretty to watch, but it doesn't stick around very long. Today I have a new layout to share with you that I've done for the "Press Your Luck" challenge at Colorful Creations. My challenge was to create a monochromatic layout. I chose to switch it up and do a boy layout for a change of pace. I grabbed a photo of my nephew as a baby and some blue papers from the Tim Holtz "Vintage Shabby" collection. And this is what I came up with...
I distressed all the layers and did some messy punching with a Martha Stewart border punch. I applied Stickles in "Waterfall" to my diecuts for a bit of sparkle, and a few rhinestones in my flower cluster. I pleated my light blue ribbon the sewed buttons on each pleat. The blue lace bow has a pacifier charm that I sewed on. Otherwise I kept the design pretty simple to keep the focus on the cute photo.
Thank for coming by and taking a peek! I truly appreciate your time and comments! Hope you're having a wonderful weekend!
