Hi all! It's reveal time once again at Let's Get Sketchy and I have my inspiration page based off this week's fabulous sketch.

 I used some beautiful papers from Blue Fern for this page. On the background I've a bit of random stamping and stenciling. The flowers, lace, string, and buttons are from my stash. The resin birdcage is from Spare Parts I think. And the beautiful butterflies are from Reneabouquets.

Cork Ireland for Picture This

Hi all! It's time for the mid month challenge at Picture This! The criteria for this challenge is:

My maternal grandfather's family was from Cork and it's on my bucket list to visit there one day. 

I used Kaisercraft papers for this page with just a bit of stenciling with splatters of white acrylic paint and Smooch in Wicked.

My Creative Scrapbook reveal

Hi everyone! Hope you're ready for the April kits reveal from My Creative Scrapbook. Today I have my first two layouts that I created using the Main kit, featuring goodies from the Rise & Shine collection by Amy Tangerine perfect for your Spring themed projects.

Remember the Past for Reneabouquets

I hope everyone is enjoying their Good Friday. I have a lot of family events/obligations scheduled this weekend. They are really keeping me busy lol.  But first I have my latest page that I created for Reneabouquets using products from the shops that I'd love to share with you today. And I have my product list with direct links posted at the bottom.

I have used a mix of older Prima and Kaisercraft papers for this page, punching and/or distressing my layers, then adding some softness by tucking in the beautiful lace along the edges. I did a bit of stamping with a script stamp around the background, then using a stencil and texture paste I added just a little more interest and texture. Using a recycled lid and gesso, I added the rings. To darken my chipboard pieces I simply gave them a few quick sprays of the Tim Holtz distress spray in Walnut stain.

To add even more texture and detail I added seed beads to the flower clusters. Then to finish off the background I added some splatters.

To add just a bit more of a vintage feel I added two small key trinkets to the already gorgeous Lipstick Kisses butterflies.

Hello all! It's April 1st and a new challenge has been reveal at Picture This! The criteria for this challenge is to use the following: corners+ 1 photo+ splatters

Easy peasy right? Here's my inspiration page following the criteria.

For this page I used Heidi Swapp paper and misc. flowers and gems. I tore and distressed my layers, then added some stamping and splatters of pink and white acrylic paint.
