Birthday girl

Hello all!  Sketch #66 has been revealed at Keeping the Best. So today I'm sharing my inspirational piece that I've created for the reveal.
I've done a page of my cute little niece on her fifth birthday using some old Basic Grey "Euphoria"- yes some of my stash is quite old, sad but true. I am making a dent in it though. I used the CW "quarterfoil" stencil and some heavy gesso on the background. Then went over it with a Prima "static" stencil and lavender ink by Martha Stewart. The floral stamp I used is from a pack by Glitz.
And here's the beautiful sketch
I hope you get a chance to join us! Thanks so much for dropping by! Hope you have a great day!

Genuine

Happy Monday morning! It's time for a brand new sketch reveal at Let's Get Sketchy.  Here's my take on this week's fabulous sketch
I used my July kit from Scraps of Darkness, which was chock full of papers from Graphic 45 and MME. I did some masking and misting to the layers, as well as distressng and random punching. The flowers, ribbon, beads, and sequins are from my stash. The wooden leaves are by Recollections, and I lightly inked their edges. The butterflies are from Renea's etsy at http://www.reneabouquets.etsy.com/ . I'm gonna need to visit her store again soon, my stash is starting to run dry. Sounds like a good excuse to me.
And here's the fab sketch to inspire you
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you get the chance to join us, I'd love to see your projects! Have a wonderful day!
